Starting into on-campus orientation today a remind Starting into on-campus orientation today a reminder that Virtual Orientation is now live on Moodle.

There are prizes to be won for first years who get to complete it, including Maynooth University merch, giftcards and more!
Orientation and the first few weeks or college are Orientation and the first few weeks or college are an exciting time - a time for you to get settled, meet fellow students and lecturers, and consider how to explore and pursue your academic and personal interests.

To assist you in this transition to college life we have put in place a Virtual orientation for you on our virtual learning environment, Moodle. 

We really encourage you to complete online orientation before or after your in-person orientation, virtual orientation compliments your on-campus sessions and is available to you 24/7!
Want to find out more about the various subject ch Want to find out more about the various subject choices you can take?

Our Subject Information days take place on Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th of September.

These talks are available to students that have to choose subjects within their course, especially for MH101 and MH201.

Maynooth Green Campus, the Residence office & the Maynooth Green Campus, the Residence office & the @maynoothuni_international office have partnered to divert some of the waste created when students leave their apartments.
When: Monday, May 15, 2023 - 09:00 to Friday, June 2, 2023 - 17:00
Where: The collection point is the Courtyard Apartments (bike storage area)

We would encourage all students to bring whatever they can home with them. However, if there are items you cannot take with you, Maynooth Green Campus will store them and donate them to incoming students during September 2023.

The items that we will accept are:
Linens, towels and duvets
Crockery – mugs, cutlery, plates, etc.
Pots & pans, kitchen utensils, etc.
Decorations
Stationary
Bathroom ware
Electrical items
Clothes

To clarify questions and help you segregate the items, MGC members will be at the location on Thursdays: the 18th, 25th of May and 1st of June.

Please, bring along any items to help us reduce waste on campus. Incoming students will benefit from those items, and the surplus will be donated to charity.

If you have any questions or cannot deploy your belongings, please email us at greencampus@mu.ie or residences.office@mu.ie, and we will try to help!
